Instructional Craft Review
Some reviews of craft books and other stuff...
This page has an index of my craft book reviews---as of this writing, 4 books on kumi, one on paper/bookbinding, plus some other random comments.
Perhaps now that I've created a real index page for it, I'll start writing reviews again.
Huh, again no pix. Obstensibly a review of a cardweaving book, this page starts out with a mini-blurb on 2 French beaded flower books, one contemporary and one oldie-but-goodie, goes on to explain why I like the cardweaving book, and finishes with a breathless rundown of some of my favorite flameworking books. Not terribly coherent, but it'll have to do till I write something better.
Oops, no cover picture. (Hey, an excuse to buy the book, right?) Recursively enough, there are a bunch of books out there on making your own books. This review is of a fabulous book on bookbinding, & covers handmade cards as well.
An old but still good review of 4 of the original kumi texts. ``Old'' just means hand-coded in html, before the st2html scripts---i.e., you'll have to use your browser buttons to navigate. Late 90s.
