Swallowtail butterfly

And how. This is one of antsiest butterflies I ever recall. Its wings constantly fluttered, making a good sharp shot difficult. Still it's a little better than the last swallowtail I posted, some time back from, say, 1999 though I expect that has more to do with better equipment than anything else.

Swallowtail on monarda (bee balm).

I like this image cuz the flower's so sharp, in contarst to the blur of the buttefly's wings.
