Alas and alack, I wasn't *that* organized, so I will now be spreading heart goodness over several days. But the world could certainly use a little more love, right? {#ip}Given my usual reaction towards cuteness, I suppose it's even a little odd that after rounds, this is the next most common production shape I make. (Ah, but there's the sensuality---as well as the frustration---of shaping the humps, so perhaps it's the challange, the hope that *someday* I will master this shape that keeps it so alluring...) {ip} "Happy Valentine's Day!" {cdate}14feb2006 {h1}Hearts {h2}Happy Valentine's Day:) {public} {p}I made a series of hearts for Valentine's Day, mostly in the traditional pink, white and red colors. Here is a selection of opaque curliQs and gravity swirls: {icap}2006valentine_heart2460.jpg {cap}soda-lime glass, approximately 13--15 mm hole to hole. 2006 {p}Bullseye has a very nice assortment of pinks and purples, (not to mention stringers, though I think the red is actually uroboros) so that's the glass I chose to make this series. {p}file created 14feb06
