I've been meaning to make some stuff featuring a 3 hole bead for quite some time—in fact, I even started one years ago, but I didn't like it, and took it apart. The concept languished, despite what I felt was great potential. Then, finally, I made the pink and green garden fantasy.

A customer saw the piece and was interested in doing something similar, but she wanted a darker bead, suitable for winter wear, or with black clothing (she lives in NYC). —She's also named after Gene Tierney, the 1940s movie star; and given that she made a star of my bead, well, the title seemed apt.

I made several focals (three?) She purchased two of them, but the curvy one didn't do it for her. I loved it, though, and decided to try stringing something like she'd done with it. She sent me a pic of her finished piece which I show above. Yummy.
