I love rock iris, because I love iris period, and since these little ones bloom before the trees leaf, I can put them anywhere in the garden, instead of worrying whether they'll get enough sun.

They even seem to slowly be propagating. At any rate, the lensbaby does a nice job of blurring all that leafy clutter. I suppose the early crocus snuck in just before them, but for the purposes of this series, they're the second of my spring bulbs (corms?) to flower.
