I went to Japan earlier this year (than I have the preceding couple of years) Feb/March instead of May—so there different flowers & foliage to photograph. These translucent white daffs with barely any sepals around the trumpets quite appealed.

A (very) little research on ze intertubes suggests these are the ‘White Petticoat’ cultivar of Narcissus bulbocodium, which up to now I don't recall ever seeing—not altogether surprising, I gather they were released commercially in 2017? Anyway, they looked like they'd be fun and easy to draw, so I figured I'd stick them on the site for handy reference:)
