My student made the error of taking me up on my effort to provide giftwrapping supplies for a present; unfortunately for her, that meant she got giftwrapping as well. Her natural taste helped to rein in my over-the-top sensibilities, and I rather liked the result.

winter giftwrap. F chose the paper and one or two of the elements; I larded on a bunch of others. Included: silk ivy leaves, a red poinsetta flower, curling ribbon in dark green, some old red glass ornaments, and fluffy red and green yarn. December 2011.
