Here's another watercolour sketch of one of my Shima-nishik tree peony's blooms, this time on a 6x9 watercolour block. (These are travel books, glued around the edges so that the sheets of watercolour paper serve as both medium and the backing to keep it stretched and rigid.)

I didn't like the overworked purplish section in the lower middle section of the flower, but f2tE liked the piece, which meant I had a perfect way to dispose of it.

After I documented it, of course.
