I've included two shots of this fabulous bead I commissioned when I saw a very similar bead in the artist's stash when she came to demo. Unfortunately the last bead she demoed was badly out of focus; so I show this one, which is same basic design, but different colors, to give a better idea of the demo.

In fact, she made two beads for me to choose from; and I went with the one closer to original (safely tucked away in her personal collection—I have good taste, I guess!)

Here's a closeup showing some of her sculptural detail. It also shows a great many fibers and dust particles...oh well. At least it's in focus.
