Freshwater Pearl & Bali Silver
2 bracelets on my mind for a while...

It's kinda funny, the way your mind can play tricks. I clearly recall making two bracelets, both multi-stranded out of mixed pearls, with bali silver, and one with crystal as well. But I'd have sworn up and down that my favorite had a stick pearl in the clasp. Yet both bracelets shown here have rectangular clasps, each set with 5 cabuchons.

So, did I made a third bracelet that was never photographed? A necklace? I can't really say. What I do know is that I liked the way these came out and resolved to make something like this for myself.

First thing to do was collect the beads, which I've been doing, desultorilarly for the past three-four years. Next was to acquire a clasp. I traded Page for a couple of stick pearl clasps, though these worked lengthwise, and were single strand, as opposed to triple stand.

Then I had to string the stuff. —And I did finally, sort of, which is why I dug these old images up.
