Multi-strand necklace of garnet & pink serpentine with Ceramic Accent
Here, Sylvus, see what you can do with this.

Before we started selling our odds and ends at the local Bead Guild's biannual show, my friend Page's favorite way of dealing with fun things that had now become a burden was to give them to me and say, “Here, Sylvus, do something fun with this!”.

She presented me not only with the charming ceramic accent that serves as the focal point, but also with the gently faceted 4mm garnet and the dyed pink serpentine strands that make up the bulk of the piece. The copper s-hook clasp and molded Indian glass beads were my big contribution.

Materials & Techniques: Multiple strands of garnet and serpentine stone, strung on beadalon through Indian glass and a ceramic focal point, finished with rhodonite copper, sterling and white metal.
