I happened to be at a friend's house and her long-haired orange kitty just so perfectly arranged himself I had to snap a pic:

If I were just a touch less lazy, I'd use gimp's skew tool to straighten that left edge but just as is I love the way the geomentric background of the stairwell co-ordinates and sets off the cat's similarly coloured fur.

This youngster is the other's companion. Obviously they live in a house in which clean lines and geometric figures predominate, setting of the felines’ naturally curvilinear nature.
